Customer Self Service using Sitecore

A Self Service portal

We were engaged by Bupa to assist on the front end development for its consumer self service portal. The drive behind this project was to save money and improve efficiency by putting common tasks and information back in the hands of the end user.

The requirements for this project involved integrating with internal back end systems, accessing API's and providing a fully responsive and optimised front end manageable using the Sitecore CMS.

Component parts of this project also involved integration with other components such as Google Maps and third party security token providers.

Development was using the Agile Methodology which considering the number of parties involved including off shore resources, enabled the project to run smoothly and effectively.

This has been a challenging yet rewarding project that we have been involved with for a number of years over a number of iterations.
